Trust

Trust is something I never developed as a kid growing up.

I could sit here all day listing the experiences that happened to me as a child that probably resulted in me having trust issues, but the fact of the matter is that self trust, trust in others, and trust in the universe is something I need to (and have been) working on.

It’s been a very slow process that I work on everyday, but I know developing trust is so important in order to follow the path of my highest self without resistance.

If you have trust issues like me, here are some of my favorite quotes to give you a new perspective on whatever doubts or fears you may be experiencing:

“The best way to find out if you can trust somebody is to trust them” – Ernest Hemingway

“As soon as you trust yourself, you will know how to live” – Johann Wolfgang von Goethe

“Trust is letting go of needing to know all the details before you open your heart” – Anonymous

“The inability to open up to hope is what blocks trust, and blocked trust is the reason for blighted dreams – Elizabeth Gilbert

“You may be deceived if you trust too much, but you will live in torment if you don’t trust enough” – Frank Crane

“Trust yourself. Create the kind of self that you will be happy to live with all your life. Make the most of yourself by fanning the tiny, inner sparks of possibility into flames of achievement.” – Golda Meir

“Trust life. If you trust, only then can you drop your knowledge, only then can you put your mind aside.” – Osho

“True trust necessarily carries with it uncertainties, but we must force ourselves to think about these uncertainties as possibilities and opportunities, not as liabilities.” – Robert Solomon
